The Trucks tour with Northern State

Spring is here and The Trucks are back! Brooklyn based female rappers Northern State have invited our favorite four-piece on their tour of the west coast. The two bands met at SXSW in 2007 and have wanted to tour ever since - and now is the time. The LA show also features the Dollyrots (whom they also met in Austin). Idiot Pilot to perform homecoming show - WHAAM/BEAF

Clickpop Records' archetypal band, Idiot Pilot, has just returned from a massive 49 day tour of the USA (too many shows to list here). This neatly coincides with the return of the Bellingham Electronic Arts Festival. The band is going to help kick off the event with their first concert in Bellingham this year at The Old Foundry (100 E Maple) next Thursday April 24th, 2008. The show starts at 8pm and will also feature the experimental electronic band Obelus, as well as some more surprise guests. Please check out the links for the rest of the exciting BEAF events!

2008 is starting out to be a busy year for Black Eyes & Neckties.
The band is currently playing regional shows and is heading out on a tour that starts in late Feb and goes throughout March. Some dates are found below.

Promotion for their new CD "apparition!" is well under way.
Radio stations are already keen on the disc and KUGS, KEXP, and KNND have all been playing it regularly.

Memex Records - Hakea Release & Decibel Showcase

From Clickpop Record's electronic division (Memex Records), comes the long awaited debut album by Hakea, one of Seattle's most interesting upcoming electronic artists. Appropriately enough - the album is being released at the Decibel Electronic Festival, where Hakea had its breakthrough performance back in 2004. This year Memex Records is presenting a showcase featuring Seattle and Portland artists Hakea, Mori, Seiche and Arohan.

The showcase is at the Baltic Room in Seattle, on Sunday Sept 23rd.

As a lead up to the full length CD coming this fall, Clickpop Records is proud to announce the local and internet availability of the first release by Jenni Potts - The Fourth EP.
